Andy, Nope. I built a contoured shower pan. Did you see the build thread? It is here -->

and has pictures of the shower pan and the steps I took during the floor work. The second picture (with the toilet up on the work bench) shows the pan separate from the floor before glassing. If you want to email back and forth, I would be happy to help you as much as I can.

Ahh, good info on the shower. I'm planning to build one and this will help me out a lot. I'm a bit confused on what you did for the floor pan though. Did you just put down coats of fiberglass resin over normalish flooring?
